NūR Scientific is a Silicon Valley-born start-up that stands apart. While rooted in a culture of technology and innovation, our journey has truly been built from the ground up. We didn’t come monied elites; instead, we created everything ourselves through dedication and resilience.

Our founding member was a Firefighter working in the SF Bay Area. A twist of fate brought disease into his life, eventually necessitating a kidney transplant. Knowing he faced a complex and daunting journey, he dove into studying molecular biology and immunology to gain insight into his medical future. As the disease progressed he used his insight to develop his own supplement regimen to keep himself healthy enough to continue fighting fires. This experience was the seed that would grow into NūR Scientific.

The name NūR (/nṙ/, noun) is inspired by the Armenian word for pomegranate which has been a symbol of Armenian heritage for centuries, representing eternity and the unity of family through its many seeds. It reflects our identity as a family business. Our founder brought his family together to apply their diverse skills to create innovative products that have real, functional uses. Brothers, sisters, and cousins united to bring their expertise in biology, engineering, neuropsychiatry, philosophy, computer science, product development and business. This is the team of NūR Scientific: top-shelf products made from the ground up.
